Welp we are supposed to get some snow today. Guess we will see if that happens. Currently 51 out. o.O Supposed to be in the teens tomorrow. O.o

Ya we are getting creamed right now. I had bus duty today after school today... Snow and wind everywhere... Not a fun day for bus duty at all. Tomorrow should be better though since there will be no snow. We did get let go an hour early today though, which was good.

Welp FedEx guy left my package today. Propping my screen door open... So now it is covered in snow. Yes, the inside too. >.> On a positive note nothing was broken.

Welp damn it... Snow day... I wish we would have just gutted it out and gone for this last day of finals. Now I lost one of my Friday's off next semester to make up for it. The Friday's that were supposed to substitute our "spring break." >.>

I finally got in contact with the seller,...there has been a delay, which is fine (wont get here til january sometime)...just glad I didnt miss it.

snowday? gessh, when I was a kid to have a snow day meant that there was over a foot of snow on the ground! anything less and you went to school. Now they hand out snow days like parking tickets.......

sorry to hear you will lose a friday off--but perhaps this is one of those days that is already in the plan???? I feel more sorry for the kids who will have to take their tests in 2 weeks after being off for a long holiday break. (just TRY to remember anything after 2 weeks off!)

Well that is good. Glad you got it figured out cosy and it wasn't lost.

I ended up going in today anyways. Talked to the principal about it. I had gone to Wal-Mart in the morning and saw around 10 cars in ditches. He told me that a couple roads were actually blocked off due to cars being stuck in the middle of the roads for various reasons. So ya, it wasn't so much the snow as the fact that many roads were untravelable.

yeah, I remember the one snow day we had during college--it wasnt due to the kids not being able to get to classes, but the TEACHERS couldnt get there!

so the world didnt end, gee go figure...now what are those fools going to talk about for the next 1700 years?

Ya I think we had a couple snow days when I was there. The one I really remember was the day that it was a blizzard in the morning. But we had class. I walked to class in a freaking blizzard. Then at noon, when the blizzard was done and so were my classes, they cancelled the rest of the days classes. I was upset...

I was as surprised as you that it didn't end cosy. Very shocking...

No snow here. Actually had some flurries today but nothing accumulated. Might get some snow tomorrow night or Wednesday. Everyone have a Merry Christmas in case I don't get back on tomorrow!

azzer, I understand and feel your pain!! (if my siblings and I are together for more than a few hours we want to kill one another!) its part of why I like to spend xmas ALONE--nice and quiet, no one (but my hubby) to annoy me, have expectations...etc....yep, what I want for today is a nice relaxing holiday with NO relatives in sight! (and seeing as I just woke up about 1/2 hour ago....

).
pwnd, glad you enjoy your family get togethers...not everyone is fortunate enough to have a family like yours!
